"Back in 1905, when
my grandfather, Frank L. Fenton, and great-uncle John founded the Fenton
Art Glass Company, their passion for creating beautiful art glass became
a reality. Adventurous "glass pioneers", they were always experimenting
with new decorative techniques or unusual glass formulas. Today,
that same pioneering spirit and joy of creating glass artistry is shared
by the Fenton family and our "extended family of talented and dedicated
employees. Please join us as we celebrate our 96th year."

This year marks the 96th anniversary of the
Fenton Glass Company which was formed in 1905 as a glass decorating company
at Martins Ferry, Ohio. Brothers Frank and John soon envisioned their
own glassmaking factory when they experienced trouble obtaining glass from
other companies. Two years later, they produced their first piece
of glass in Williamstown, West Virginia on January 2, 1907.
